These are agencies and companies that work to ensure the welfare and safety of children in Wales.
NSPCC
The NSPCC is a national charity that works to keep children safe and happy. Their aim is to ensure that no child is the victim of abuse, neglect or abuse online.
The NSPCC offers support to children, families and schools by providing information, advice and practical help. They also run the Childline service, where children can talk to a trained adult at any time about whatever is bothering them.
By working together with the NSPCC, we as a school encourage everyone to know where to turn for help and how to keep safe.
Barnados
Barnardo's is a charity that works throughout Wales and the United Kingdom to support children and families who need extra help.
They help children overcome challenges such as poverty, loneliness, family problems or learning difficulties, and give them the best chance to succeed in the future. We can support Barnardo's by donating to collections, taking part in fundraising events or donating unwanted clothes, books and toys to their local charity shops.
By doing this, we are helping to ensure that more children get the support and care they need.
The Children's Society
The Children's Society is a charity that works to make life better for children and young people who are facing difficult times. They support children who have experienced poverty, loneliness, abuse or difficulties with their mental health.
The charity offers a safe place to talk, practical advice and emotional support, so that young people can build a brighter future.
We can support The Children's Society by raising money, taking part in events or sharing their work in order to help more children get the support they need.
